The Spindler line runs through the coastal villages of north-east Suffolk — Theberton, Darsham, and Westleton — traced from Jacob Spindler in the late eighteenth century to Thomas Spindler, who died in 1898. Thomas's daughter Annie Laura married Frederick George Walker in 1906, carrying the line forward into the Walker family.
